The importance of meditation in healing
Meditation has been my ‘medicine’ and life-long friend. I began practicing meditation after learning how to meditate in Thailand almost 25 years ago – it has been a love affair ever since! I have trained extensively in mind-body healing techniques and meditation practices from teachers from all over Asia and the UK and meditation continues to influence my work.
All my clients receive bespoke meditation and hypnosis tracks, crafted to help aid their personal healing and increase their experience of inner peace. I also deliver mental health and wellbeing training for professionals and organisations that includes meditation practices as a powerful tool to create change and resilience.
Meditation for health and wellbeing
Meditation is an ancient practice that is now recognised as hugely beneficial to health and wellbeing. Regular meditation can reduce stress and negative thought patterns whilst helping you to relax and create a sense of inner peace and calm.
Stress can affect your sympathetic nervous system by increasing your heart rate, blood pressure and breathing. Meditation can reduce these physiological symptoms to bring your mind and body back from a state of ‘flight and flight’, focus your attention and create peace and tranquillity. Many people who regularly meditate also report increased creativity, happiness and connection with themselves and those around them.

- anger or grief
- anxiety and worry
- periods of stress
